Attendees viewing EAVISION J150 at Regina agricultural drone demonstration

Following demonstration stops across Alberta and Manitoba, the Ag Drones and AgTek360 team continued the 2026 agricultural drone demonstration tour in Saskatchewan on September 24–25.

Over two days, the team travelled across the province with stops in the Foam Lake/Yorkton area, Saskatoon, Regina and Swift Current, giving growers and agricultural professionals an opportunity to see the EAVISION J150 agricultural drone firsthand.

Attendees were able to see the J150 up close and in flight, ask questions and talk with our team about how agricultural drone technology could fit into their farming or custom application operations.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to join us along the Saskatchewan tour. Unfortunately, our tour coincided with harvest for many growers, but don’t worry—we’ll be back with more demonstrations!

Bringing the EAVISION J150 to Saskatchewan Fields

Seeing an agricultural drone operate in the field provides a very different perspective than looking at specifications, photos or videos.

At each Saskatchewan stop, attendees had an opportunity to get a closer look at the EAVISION J150, see the field setup and watch the drone in operation.

The demonstrations also gave growers a chance to talk directly with the team about the practical side of operating an agricultural drone—from transportation, setup and batteries to application planning, training, maintenance and support.

For anyone considering adding a drone to their operation, these practical considerations are just as important as the aircraft itself.

Four Demonstration Stops Across Saskatchewan

The Saskatchewan portion of our 2026 demonstration tour covered four locations over two days:

September 24

  • Foam Lake/Yorkton area
  • Saskatoon

September 25

  • Regina
  • Swift Current

Travelling to different areas of the province allowed us to meet with growers and agricultural professionals closer to home and have conversations about the different ways drone technology could potentially be incorporated into their operations.

Photo Highlights From Regina, Saskatchewan

Our Regina demonstration on September 25 provided another opportunity for attendees to see the J150 both on the ground and in flight.

Before and after the flight demonstration, attendees were able to get close to the aircraft, look at the equipment and talk with the Ag Drones and AgTek360 team.

Seeing Agricultural Drone Technology in Action

One of the biggest advantages of an in-field demonstration is being able to see the complete operating process rather than just the drone itself.

Attendees can see the size of the aircraft, how it is transported and prepared for flight, and what operating an agricultural drone looks like in an actual field environment.

Watching the J150 fly also helps put agricultural drone applications into context.

Drones can provide another application option when field access is difficult, application timing is tight or avoiding wheel traffic through a crop is important. Where a drone fits will depend on the individual farm, crop, field conditions, product labels, regulations and application requirements.

More Than Just the Drone

Our approach to agricultural drone technology goes beyond the aircraft.

Ag Drones is powered by AgTek360, connecting application technology with agronomy, crop information and practical field support.

That approach is reflected in our 5-Step Crop Performance System:

Analyze → Recommend → Apply → Measure → Optimize

The goal is not simply to apply a product. It is to use information from the field to help make informed agronomic decisions, apply with the appropriate technology, measure the results and use what is learned to improve future decisions.

Why Agricultural Drone Demonstrations Matter

Agricultural drones are a significant investment, and specifications alone don’t tell the whole story.

A live demonstration gives growers the opportunity to see the equipment in person and better understand its size, field setup, transportation requirements and operating workflow.

It also gives people an opportunity to ask questions specific to their own farms.

Those conversations are an important part of the demonstrations. Every operation is different, and seeing the technology firsthand makes it easier to consider where a drone may—or may not—be a practical fit.

Thank You, Saskatchewan

Thank you to everyone who joined us in the Foam Lake/Yorkton area, Saskatoon, Regina and Swift Current.

We appreciate everyone who took the time to come out, watch the J150 in action, ask questions and share their experiences with our team.

The Saskatchewan demonstrations wrapped up another leg of our 2026 Western Canadian demonstration tour, following earlier stops in Alberta and Manitoba.
